About Risalah
Risalah Foundation is a registered Ontario non-profit organization established in 2008. The Foundation, composed of young Canadian Muslim men and women of various backgrounds and ethnicities, aims to provide educational and social services to the growing Muslim population of the greater Toronto area. The focus of Risalah is providing necessary knowledge and nurturing Islamic spirituality through authentic scholarship and a holistic approach relevant to our setting.
Mission
The name Risalah is a reference to the Sacred Message with which the Prophets and Messengers were sent. The essential Message conveys knowledge regarding God, the nature of man, and the meaning of life. As such, the Risalah inclusively concerns our diverse communities and is comprehensive in its scope, touching all aspects of life.
The mission of Risalah Foundation, by Allah’s succour, is to be an active participant in the sound reception and faithful dissemination of this most sacred message. Together, we can attain excellence through faith and practice.
